DiePack draws the flat, cut-out shape of a folding box (the die-line), ready for your printer or cutting machine.

    1. 1Pick a box styleChoose Reverse Tuck End or Straight Tuck End at the top, or pick a ready-made size from Preset.
    2. 2Enter the inside sizeType the length, width and depth of the space inside the box. Measure your product and add a little room.
    3. 3Set the boardCaliper is how thick the card is; your printer can tell you. Also type the Glue flap (0.5 in is normal) and Bleed (0.125 in, or 1/8 in, is normal). Picking a Preset fills these in for you.
    4. 4Check the drawingThe canvas shows your box. Drag to move it, scroll to zoom, and press 1:1 to see it at real size.
    5. 5Run a Production CheckPress Production Check and pick your cutting machine or print shop sheet. It tells you if the box fits, if the flaps are big enough to fold, if the glue flap is right and if your machine can cut the board.
    6. 6Save your filesUse SVG or DXF at the bottom to download the file, Copy to copy the box details, or Print for a one-page sheet for your printer.
    Good to know
    • Press Samples at the top to see an example first.
    • Your business name and Client / ID are printed on the spec sheet, included when you copy the details, and added to the SVG and DXF file names. Inside the SVG they are saved as a hidden note, never drawn, so a cutter never cuts them.
    • Press Clear at the top to start fresh. It wipes your work and the Client / ID; your business name stays.
    • See Privacy by Design at the top for exactly what stays on your device.
    • Switch between inches (IN) and millimetres (MM) at any time. Your design does not change.
    • Red solid lines are cuts, blue dashed lines are folds, and green dotted lines show how far your artwork should reach.
    • Always ask your printer for a test sample before a big order.

An example fills in the box size, style and board settings. Your business name stays the same.

Sizes are typical for each machine. If your manual says something different, type it in; it is remembered for next time.

Checked instantly on your device. These are rules of thumb: always make one test box before a full run.
